General Terms of Use

This website-hosted user interface is made available by GLIMPSE (we, us, our), a platform dedicated to enabling predictions and exchange of insights for the future using decentralized blockchain technology.

These Terms of Use (Terms), together with any additional terms they expressly incorporate by reference, govern your access to and use of the Interface, Glimpse's websites, web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and any associated services (collectively, the Services).

All transactions on GLIMPSE are final. Users agree to our Privacy Policy, which can be found at /privacy. Please read it carefully to understand how we handle your data.

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, clicking I agree, or otherwise accessing or using the Interface or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Interface or the Services.

Overview

GLIMPSE operates a decentralized platform that allows users to engage with blockchain-based contracts and related services (8Ball). The Contracts facilitated by the Interface are decentalized smart contracts deployed on decentralized blockchain networks.

These Contracts are not deployed, maintained, or resolved by Glimpse, and Glimpse does not control or guarantee the outcomes of these Contracts.

The Services and Contracts are not offered to persons or entities who reside in, are located in, are incorporated in, or have a registered office in the United States or any other restricted jurisdiction as described below. The use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to circumvent these restrictions is prohibited.

Regional Restrictions

You you are not a resident, national, or agent of Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Belarus, Burundi, Burma (Myanmar), Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Crimea and Sevastopol, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Nepal, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe or any other country to which Canada, Panama, the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union embargoes goods or imposes similar sanctions (collectively, Restricted Territories);

Users who reside in or are citizens of these restricted regions acknowledge that they are assuming any and all potential liability, including the possibility of having their accounts locked from trading and further participation in Glimpse's services.

Use of the Services

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that: All Digital Assets you use with the Services are legally obtained and belong to you.

You have obtained any required consents from individuals whose personal information you may transfer to us. Your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements in your jurisdiction.

Age Verification and Liability

By using GLIMPSE, users confirm that they are at least 18 years old. Furthermore, users acknowledge that all funds used on the platform are their own and that they are fully responsible for any losses incurred.

GLIMPSE does not take any liability for funds lost during transactions or through participation in the platform's prediction markets.

Rules and Conduct

Users agree to conduct themselves in a polite and respectful manner when interacting with other users in comments and other public interactions on the platform.

Any form of serious misconduct, including but not limited to harassment, abuse, or spamming, can lead to temporary or permanent bans from the platform at GLIMPSE's discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials provided through the Interface or Services are the property of GLIMPSE or its licensors. You may not use, copy, or modify these materials without prior written permission.

Having a partnership agreement or receiving vocal permission does not automatically qualify a third party for the use of GLIMPSE's logos, markets, or brand materials. Formal written consent must be obtained for such use.

The Services and related content are provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial, legal, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions.

Using blockchain-based Services involves risks, including loss of access to Digital Assets due to lost private keys, technical issues, regulatory inquiries, or security vulnerabilities. You accept full responsibility for these risks.

By participating in our prediction markets, users acknowledge that all predictions carry a risk of total financial loss. Potential payouts are not guaranteed and should be considered speculative.
